Just a few reviews that our guests wrote about their stay at our Bed and Breakfast:

5th August 2015, guest from Boston:

"We had the most amazing time at Blueberry Bay Inn...I can not say enough about it! The location was great (not too far from South Shore towns, but far enough out to feel like you are in beautiful, natural beach setting). The room and the yard of their home (which Miguel graciously let us use for hours on end) was perfect for us and our two young boys. The breakfast was a several course meal and filled us up until the late afternoon! Miguel has a wonderful summer home and clearly enjoys sharing his little piece of heaven with others...I highly recommend staying with him!"

Tip:

"Be prepared to relax and enjoy yourself at the quiet local beaches (including the one directly across the street from the inn). Drive along the coastal road from Mahone Bay and stop in all the unique small towns along the way. It will be a vacation you won't want to end!"

26th July 2015, guest from Brampton:

"the Inn and its owners were fantastic. We felt at home instantly and the accommodations were very spacious, clean and the decor beautiful. The view is spectacular! We would definitely return."

 16th September 2014:

"We love your place. The only comment that I would have is that there is no cooking facility. I think that if there was a communal kitchen (such as a hostel might have), it would be easier for guests at evening meal time since most restaurants are quite far away, especially if you want to have a drink at supper. Breakfast was excellent and the hosts kind, caring people."

27th August 2014, guest from Dartmouth:

"Blueberry Bay Seaside Inn is a BandB with a difference. Access to a gas BBQ, as well as a microwave and small fridge in the room are added bonuses which helps make travel more affordable if you choose to prepare your own lunch and dinner. You may not need lunch after being served a three course breakfast! We stayed here for three days and thoroughly enjoyed the room (upper floor) - very clean and comfortable, the communal breakfasts (plentiful and varied) which provided a great way to meet interesting people, and of course, our hosts who were so very accommodating and provided great information about the local area."

"Very nice and friendly owners . "

"We thoroughly enjoyed your company and your family. You were excellent hosts and interested in both what we had to say and in what you said.

I have marked your facilities as a 4 for one reason. While we understand that it is a work in progress we generally thought that if it was financially possible, you should hire a work party and complete all the little things like painting the outside, the decks and railings, the outside chairs. Also you should get rid of the old and rusting chairs if they cannot be painted and only have a minimum of useful furniture on the decks and verandahs. With this done you would be amazed at how it would improve the looks and feel for your Inn.

Needless to say it was absolutely wonderful there and the setting is amazing. Thank you so much for a fantastic three nights and brunches. "

21st August 2014, guest from Magog:

"If you want to spend your holiday away from crowds and modern development, Bluberry Bay is the place to be. We went to the Kedjimkujik Seaside and met five people in the space of two hours. Real Zen."

Tip:

"Wonderful quiet beaches. Quaint little villages, wonderful hospitable people. "

8th September 2013, guest from Port Lorne:

"Perfect getaway on the south shore! We staid for two days - not enough to relax at this lovely inn and its unique location; we truly enjoyed the very private atmosphere of the sea breeze room with two decks (!!), one to drool over endless ocean vistas, and the other one perfectly located to soak in the last sun rays in the evening... wonderful hosts, energetic conversations, thanks so much Miguel! We explored the shore, discovering an amazing mix of pristine wilderness, miles of untouched white-sand beaches, coves and bays, some within walking distance of the inn. Needless to say, we'd never have found Burgess beach, had it not been for Miguel's tip of the day of our departure...even went for a dip in the ocean...

Connie and Fred, Port Lorne, NS"

Tip:

"Plan to stay for a week!"

27th August 2013, guest from Halifax:

"Blueberry Bay Seaside Inn was the perfect weekend getaway on the South Shore. The room was spacious, clean, and inviting. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay for a Nova Scotia holiday. "

Tip:

"Close to Liverpool for dining and Seaside Keji for a fun, short (2hr) hike."
